Thirteen Ways to Free a Crow
The last piece that got set to music. Also the longest piece, a story that twists around a forest of tree branches. The flock of crows watching led me to layer Diana’s voices in a flocking fashion.
I wish I would have taken a couple of bars of the guitar riff, messed with the sound and turned it into a sample with some distinctive noise on it, like the sound from the 78s in #10, and returned to it three or four times throughout the song as punctuation. But i didn’t think of that till I had the finished CD in my hand. :)
